To date, two vessels loaded with Russian-made wheat have already arrived in the port city of Tartus, located in Syria on the Mediterranean coast.
It is noteworthy that the already arrived cargo is only the first batch. And in the near future the coast of the Syrian port will reach two more ships with similar goods. It is known that we are talking about four ships, which, following the contract, will deliver from Russia to Syria a total of more than one hundred ten thousand tons of wheat grain.
It is important to note that today Syria has already managed to unload the first two vessels that supplied the local market with fifty-three thousand tons of grain. Wheat from the Russian Federation belongs to the milling variety.
It is reported that in the shortest possible time it will be transported by specially equipped trucks or on special trains to various points in Syria.
It will not be superfluous to note that the purchase of wheat in Russia and its distribution through Syrian stores and outlets is carried out within the framework of a plan approved by the Syrian authorities.
We also add that today in Syria there is an active harvest of grain crops, as local farmers are afraid, in the near future their crops can destroy natural fires that traditionally rage in the country in mid-summer.
