The other day, representatives of the public relations department of the Federal Agency for Fisheries released statistical information on the production of oysters at fish breeding enterprises in Russia in 2018.
Based on the available data, we can safely say that last year, producers of the Krasnodar Territory increased their market oysters almost three times and reached the annual result of fifty-five tons.
Employees of fish farms in the Primorsky Territory, who last year managed to increase the rate of production of oysters by fourteen times and reach a result of one thousand two hundred and sixty tons, also increase production turnovers.
As for the producers of mollusks who work on the Crimean shores, in particular, on Lake Donuzlav, in this case we are talking about improving the result: entrepreneurs of the peninsula managed to win their own record set in 2017, and released seven hundred six on the market in 2018 tons of oysters.
It is noteworthy that the supply of oysters to the Russian market from other countries is growing. Marine delicacies are massively appearing in domestic sales thanks to supplies from New Zealand, Tunisia, South Korea and Japan. It is known that the volume of overseas consignments of oysters in 2018 increased by eighteen percent.
