The company "Ukraine", which processes more than 3 thousand land in the Belokurakinsky district of the Luhansk region, is developing technologies for growing new crops for the region.
This was told by the agronomist of the enterprise Vladimir Lavrenko.
Direct speech: “We want to improve crop rotation of local farms, which often number only two or three crops, and break the stereotype that the climatic conditions of the region are not suitable for the cultivation of rapeseed, millet, flax, rye and other crops,” noted he.
According to him, to have a large assortment for the farm is important because of the changing market conditions for agricultural products, as well as for the rational use of agricultural machinery.
Ukrainian farmers provide food for 140 million people.
So, for three years, the rape yield on the farm is 35-41 c. on a circle, and the farm is working on improving the technology of growing crops. In particular, experiments with the cultivation of liquefied rapeseed crops yielded good results.
Now Ukraine is working out technologies for growing 16 crops: wheat (winter and spring), winter barley, rapeseed and rye, spring and winter peas, lentils, chickpeas, cereal, mung bean, corn, buckwheat, sunflower, soybeans, flax and Sudan grass .
The plans are to become a seed farm and provide local farmers with quality seed material. To produce high-quality seed material, the farm has already acquired Fadeev’s calibration grain cleaner.
- Chernigov agrarians sowed record areas with grain and leguminous crops.
- In Kazakhstan, there has been a decrease in the growth of leguminous crops and an increase in barley exports.
- Wild ancestors of cultivated plants are endangered.
- “Ukrainian Aquaculture Community” will develop the “Grown in Ukraine” trademark.
- Tambov agrarians cultivate a culture that only 4 Russian farms are engaged in.
