Landlord magazine has compiled a ranking of professions in demand in the agricultural sector of Ukraine.HeadHunter Ukraine, a job search portal and employees, said that in the first half of 2018, companies were most often searched for: chief agronomists, consultant agronomists, veterinarians, mechanics for the repair and production of agricultural machinery, agricultural chemists, warehouse managers, CRM implementation analysts, managers sales, livestock specialists, tractor drivers, fish farmers, production consultants for the production of animal feed, grain traders, repair engineers, managers.

Employers usually require potential employees to have a specialized higher education, knowledge of production technology, knowledge of the accounting procedure. HeadHunter Ukraine says that a surge in vacancies is observed in March. The next wave is in June-July. Usually three or four people claim one place, but companies are already fighting for qualified employees.

Now 80% of vacancies require: 1. Sales Manager / Sales Representative 2. agronomist 3. veterinarian 4. tractor driver / combine harvester / driver / machine operator 5. Head of Division / Division Director6. Service and warranty engineer for agricultural machinery 7. livestock specialist / livestock engineer 8. handyman 9.
