In the Verkhovna Rada, they registered Bill No. 10371 On Amending the Law of Ukraine “On State Support of Agriculture” (regarding support for cattle owners).
According to the explanatory note, the purpose of adopting this bill is to preserve the dairy and meat livestock industry in Ukraine.
The draft law proposes to introduce the following amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On State Support of Agriculture of Ukraine”.
The amount of the grant cannot be less than the equivalent of 300 € in the national currency of Ukraine, based on one head of the object of the subsidy.
The subsidy is paid to legal entities - business entities and individuals who are owners of cows annually no later than July 1 if there are supporting documents, the bill says.
The subsidy for young animals born in households of individuals is provided for every 4 months with a running total, given the age of the young in the amount of:
- during the period of keeping young animals aged from one to five months - at least 50 € in equivalent in the national currency of Ukraine per head;
- during the period of keeping young animals between the ages of five and nine months - at least € 100 in equivalent in the national currency of Ukraine per head;
- during the period of keeping young animals between the ages of nine and thirteen months - at least 200 € in equivalent in the national currency of Ukraine per head.
Now this bill is being worked out by the committee.
