Representatives of the import services of the People's Republic of China announced that their country is ready to expand the map for soybean purchases from the Russian Federation.
However, one should take into account the fact that this time only soybeans that were grown in the European territories of Russia received approval for deliveries.
This information was shared with the public by Gao Feng, who officially represented the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China as part of a meeting of experts from both countries on August 1, 2019.
It will not be superfluous to note that, according to Gao Feng, in recent years, Chinese buyers have been actively cooperating with Russian suppliers in matters of soybean trade. Mostly, interaction occurs through the territory of the Far East of the Russian Federation.
However, the Chinese emphasize that they are interested in the territorial expansion of trade horizons and want to work more actively with soybean producers from the European part of the Russian Federation.
It is important to add that in the past 2018, the People’s Republic of China purchased over eight hundred seventeen thousand tons of soybeans from Russian producers. For clarity, it should be added that this is more than sixty-four and a half percent than the volume of similar purchases in 2017.
