Analysts at the Russian food market share the good news: prices for chicken and turkey meat are falling on domestic trading floors.

In anticipation of the May holidays, the price of poultry meat fell on the market by an average of 7% (from 5 to 10 in different regions of the Russian Federation), when compared with the cost of the same products a week ago.

Today, the average price of chicken in Russia is 117 rubles per kilogram. The cost of fillet starts from 235 rubles and does not exceed 365 rubles per kilogram package.

If we talk about other types of meat on the domestic market, then the butchers-sellers note that, for example, pork prices will not increase in the near future. Presumably, today's average price of pig meat at 417 rubles is stabilizing for a long period.

As for beef, since the beginning of this year, the cost of this type of meat has decreased on domestic trading floors by almost 2.5%. It is important to note. What exactly is beef is the most expensive type of meat at most Russian outlets. A kilogram of this product can be purchased at an average price of at least 790 rubles.

But mutton in Russia is actively becoming more expensive - since the beginning of the year it “added” in price weight by 10% and today it is sold at an average cost of 400 rubles.
