In Mogilev-Podolsky district, Vinnitsa region, a plantation was established for the industrial cultivation of walnuts. ha.
A unique investment project has been completed in the Vinnitsa region. The cultivation area was formed from units of more than 400 local residents of the villages of Kremennaya and Yaryshev, Mogilev-Podolsky district.
A feature of the project is that the nuts will become “golden” only after five years, when the trees enter the fruiting phase.
Despite this, all these years the investor intends to pay money for renting land plots of peasants. At the same time, the board is generous - higher than the regional average.
Residents of these settlements will receive 60 new jobs. An even larger number of workers will be recruited in the future for seasonal harvesting work. It was previously reported that in 2019 the territory of the Vinnitsa region will be enriched with new gardens with a total area of 546 hectares.
Most of the plantations are walnut and apple orchards. It was planned that about 20 hectares will be allocated for planting hazelnuts. Fruit trees such as plums, cherries and cherries have gained popularity among the region’s gardeners.
