In the Transcarpathian region, a system of fines has been established for landowners and land users whose plots are overgrown with weeds.
During 2019, state inspectors in the field of state control on the use and protection of land, as well as compliance with the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine on land protection in the Transcarpathian region, will verify compliance with the requirements of land legislation when using agricultural land, including land shares.
Mountain owners will be fined if agricultural land is not used and is overgrown with weeds. These measures are especially justified in case of low land in Transcarpathia, since the main purpose of agricultural land granted for permanent use is the cultivation of agricultural products.Violators will be brought to administrative responsibility under Article 52 of the Code of Administrative Offenses with a fine: - for citizens - from 340 to 1360 UAH; - for officials and business entities - from 850 to 1700 UAH.
In the event that violations are not eliminated, the State Department of State Geocadastra in the Transcarpathian region will take measures regarding the suspension of property rights or use of land in accordance with Art. 144 and 143 of the Land Code of Ukraine.
