CJSC Vladimir-Volyn Poultry Factory began construction of a new poultry processing workshop. This will allow the company to double the available capacity.
This was reported by the Director General of the Vladimir-Volyn poultry farm Alina Sych.
“The new workshop will increase processing efficiency and reach a capacity of 13.5 thousand heads / hour,” she said.
According to Alexei Kovalenko, the managing shareholder of the company, they plan to launch the processing plant in two to four years - "depending on how quickly we raise the money." The cost of the project is about 30 million euros, he noted.
“We began to build it at our own expense, and expect to get a loan in order to complete the workshop faster,” said Alexei Kovalenko. - Now we need funds to purchase processing equipment in the Netherlands. We are negotiating with both the supplier and the companies that could provide various financing methods. ”
“Our first goal is 100% raising chickens without antibiotics. The second ambitious goal is to increase production capacities, ”summed up Alina Sych.
Today at the enterprise 50% of chickens out of 5 million heads of one-time planting are grown without antibiotics.
