The Government of the Russian Federation has instructed the competent authorities to develop a mortgage lending program specifically for rural residents of the country, subject to the payment of an annual commission of one percent.
The development of this program, which is designed to facilitate the process of acquiring housing and equipment for farm buildings in the vast expanses of Russian villages, is being carried out as part of the Integrated Development of Rural Areas project.
As part of the opening of the Far Eastern Women's Forum, Irina Geht, who replaces the chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Agro-Food Policy and Environmental Management, said that the development of a profitable lending program is in the most active phase.
And very soon, rural residents will no longer be able to wait for subsidies and other subsidies from the state for housing, but they will be able to quickly arrange a profitable mortgage on the basis of 1% of annual payments.
Irina Geht also emphasized that this mortgage will be available for both agricultural workers of the Russian Federation and those residents who are involved in the social sphere of labor in rural areas.
