Very soon, in the early autumn of this year, on the open spaces of the Neftekumsky urban district, which is located in the Stavropol Territory, a large-scale construction of a unique agricultural site starts.
We are talking about a feedlot, which is designed specifically for breeding sheep of various breeds.
The project was organized by the company Stavropol Farmer, which is based in Pyatigorsk. According to the initiators, the new site will be able to accommodate at least twenty-five thousand ewes. It is reported that a little more than thirty hectares of land have been allocated to maintain the breeding stock.
Based on the information released by investors, on the basis of a new complex in the Neftekumsky District, they will be engaged in the implementation of breeding and breeding new breeds of sheep.
It is assumed that the future livestock will have increased potential in the field of reproduction of the genus - at least three lambing in two years from each ewe.
At first, experts from Australia, who shared with Stavropol herders their unique methods of keeping and raising sheep, will oversee the work of a large-scale reproducer.
In particular, it is reported that, in accordance with the methods of the Australians, all individuals will constantly stay in the stalls. Livestock grazing in this case is completely excluded.
