A truly royal dessert can be made from gooseberries with nuts, making jam from them. It is not only delicious, but also very healthy. About the secrets of making gooseberry jam with nuts, read below.
Selection and preparation of ingredients
So that the berries do not decay, but keep their shape after heat treatment, slightly unripe specimens should be selected. First they will need to be washed, then dried, take the scissors and cut the tails with a part of the berry (about 2-3 mm).
Important! The number of nuts in the recipe can be increased at your discretion, if you want more berries to be filled, not empty.
The nuts will need to be peeled and the kernels divided into parts that can fit in size in the gooseberry berry without tearing it, and will not fall out.
